Wellness for Every Age,
Every Stage of Life.
Some physiotherapy needs do not fit neatly into "injury" or "surgery." They are about staying independent as you age, recovering well after pregnancy, or protecting your body from the demands of your work. We take these seriously - with the same depth of expertise and personal attention we bring to every patient.
Our Three Specialisms
Specialist Care for Every Need

Our Philosophy
What We Believe About Wellness
Wellness Is Proactive, Not Reactive
The best time to address your body's needs is before a problem becomes a crisis. Whether it is preventing falls in your seventies or protecting your spine from a decade of desk work, early care prevents bigger problems later.
Every Stage of Life Deserves Expert Care
A new mother's body, an elderly patient's joints and a desk worker's spine all deserve the same quality of attention and depth of expertise. Age or circumstance should never determine the quality of care you receive.
Your Doctor Is Present Every Time
Wellness patients are not less important than injury patients. Every person who walks through our door receives direct, personal attention from Dr. Shubhashini in every single session - not from a junior or assistant following a protocol.
Built Around Your Real Life
A geriatric programme for someone who lives alone is different from one for someone with family support. A postnatal plan for a working mother is different for a first-time parent. We design around your actual circumstances, not a template.
FAQs
Questions About Wellness Care
Honest answers to the questions we hear most often.
Not at all - in fact, the best time to begin geriatric physiotherapy is before a fall occurs. We assess balance, strength, gait and home environment to identify fall risk factors and address them proactively. Once a fall has happened, the fear of falling can itself become disabling. Coming in for an assessment before that stage allows us to maintain your confidence and independence, not just try to rebuild it after an incident.
Gentle postnatal physiotherapy can typically begin within days of delivery - even while still in hospital in some cases - focusing on breathing, pelvic floor activation and safe positioning for feeding. More active rehabilitation is usually introduced from 6 weeks postnatally, following your obstetric clearance. If you have had a caesarean section, your programme is adapted accordingly. There is no single timeline - we assess where you are and build from there.
Yes - this is an area where physiotherapy can make a remarkable and rapid difference. We address latch positioning and feeding posture to prevent nipple pain and neck or shoulder tension. For mastitis and blocked ducts, therapeutic ultrasound and manual techniques are clinically effective in resolving blockages and reducing inflammation. Many mothers who come in struggling with breastfeeding leave with the confidence and comfort they need to continue successfully.
Your assessment includes a detailed review of your workstation - chair height, desk height, screen position, keyboard and mouse placement, lighting and typical sitting posture. We also review how long you sit continuously, how you move during your work day and any current symptoms. You receive a written report with specific, practical recommendations you can act on immediately. Where physiotherapy is needed alongside the workstation changes, we design a programme to address the underlying physical issues as well.
This depends entirely on your individual needs and goals. An ergonomic assessment may require only one to three sessions. Postnatal rehabilitation typically involves 6 to 10 sessions over several weeks. Geriatric physiotherapy is often most effective as a regular, ongoing programme - perhaps once or twice a week initially, tapering to monthly maintenance. After your initial assessment, we will recommend a clear schedule and give you an honest estimate of what to expect.
